Time to get to work! LRS Consulting Services is seeking an experienced IT Network Administrator/IT Support Technician for our client in Missouri. This is a 6-month contract opportunity for the right person. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Network Support Technician.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding and hands-on experience in networking, network infrastructure, designing, installing, and maintaining physical computer, phone, and security networks. Establishing and maintaining network user environment, directories, and access security. Responding to the needs and questions concerning user access to network resources and the operation of various network hardware devices and software programs. Monitoring and administering the network(s) keeping appropriate user and error logs. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining networks
- Install and maintain new hardware and applications
- Monitor for updates
- Administer and maintain applications
- Ensure Network Security and connectivity
- Create, manage user accounts
- Maintain network hardware and software
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues
- Resolve technical problems
- Manage access to network resources
- Push updates using WSUS
- Support users with technical problems
- Troubleshoot and maintain Network Switches
- Manage and maintain legacy systems network to include the following: LAN Servers, Backups
- Manage and maintain all Security Access; Data Access; Data Security; and Password change maintenance.
- Manage and maintain all PC’s and Servers and devices for updates.
- Manage and Maintain system Vulnerabilities from Nexpose reporting.
- Manage and maintain all system log monitoring and corrective corrections.
- Manage and maintain all system breach (or attempted breach) attempts monitoring.
- Maintain inventories of all hardware assets.
- Provide support to end users on a variety of issues. Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems. Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support. Documents, tracks, and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution.
- Work closely with 3rd party vendors around different applications.
Must have the following experience:
- 5 years of experience in an IT Network Administration/IT Support role, with hands-on experience in the above areas.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred
- Scripting or automation experience (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
- Experience with IBMi, DB2, and ERP Systems.
Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English (written &
verbal)

Hourly rate between $20 - $125 per hour
