Fulcrum Consulting, an LRS company is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst at our client in Minneapolis, MN.
We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with 7+ years of experience to support Separately Managed Account (SMA) work in a Wealth Management setting. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between business and IT teams, providing technical analysis and solutions that improve business performance. This role requires experience in Wealth Management, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in ambiguous, matrixed environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary liaison between business and IT teams to translate complex business requirements into clear and actionable technical specifications.
• Support and contribute to projects involving Separately Managed Accounts (SMA) and Wealth Management.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, ensuring they are well-defined and concise.
• Drive the testing process, assist with issue resolution, and support implementation efforts.
• Create procedural documentation and user manuals to support business and IT teams.
• Participate in project meetings and provide subject matter expertise to ensure requirements align with business goals.
• Work effectively in a highly matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues, providing timely solutions to business challenges.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) or Business Analyst (BA), with a focus on Wealth Management.
• Demonstrated experience in Separately Managed Accounts (SMA) or similar Wealth Management platforms.
• Strong written and oral interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and figure things out in ambiguous or uncertain work environments.
• Testing experience is required, including test planning and execution.
• Managed Account experience is a plus but not required.
• Comfort and adaptability in working in a highly matrixed organization.
