The maintenance of our internal network is one of the crucial duties of an Information Technology Manager. The IT manager participates in the decision-making process for the networks hardware and software. Our IT manager must collaborate with other staff members in choosing tools, hardware, and software for the company. Any technology-related duties, including reviewing new hardware, aiding, and educating staff employees, and even running cables to replace old or create new work areas, are all managed by our IT Manager. Network administrators, computer programmers, and database administrators work with our IT Manager. Our IT Manager can and will ascertain the organizations IT requirements by speaking with higher management, after which the IT Manager will direct our IT personnel to a targeted project. These initiatives usually follow a set budget and schedule. The precise range of our IT Managers duties vary depending on the situation at the company at the time. In our business, our IT Manager is responsible for computer networks, phone systems, data and telephony connectivity, and other systems related to supporting business operations. Our IT Manager oversees and is responsible for the system upkeep in addition to assisting in creating the networks general structure. This entails routine testing to ensure every member of the IT Team operates as effectively as possible. Given our IT Team is small, our IT Manager may function from time to time as a complete information technology department. There is a significant probability they our IT Manager will manage many of the tasks that are distributed among an IT team at larger organizations. Nevertheless, our IT Manager must be qualified and equipped to manage any IT duty, from assessing new gear to helping to lay cables for the establishment of new work areas.
