Job Description

Kumabe HR is assisting a search for a Project Manager for an interior design firm, that is proficient in architecture/interior design/construction management and has a high level of organization and detail.

Essential Functions:

• Project management from conception to completion.
• Primary client liaison for project schedules, budgets, and scope of work.
• Coordinates with design leader on managing internal team scheduling, and work load.
• Organizes project documentation, correspondence, and contract documentation.
• Create project schedules, identify milestones, and plan internal deliverables.
• Provide bid sets specifications, and FF&E specifications.
• Coordinate with other design consultants including architects, landscape architects, engineers, artists, brand agencies, furniture manufacturers, etc.
• Primary liaison with general contractors, sub contractors, and installers.
• Organize and respond to RFI’s, and submittals.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 8+ years work experience in Interior Design / Architecture / Construction Management
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• Specification Writing
• Bluebeam

Preferred Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree+ in Architecture / Interior Design / Construction Management or related field
• FF&E specification writing
• FF&E procurement experience
• Logistics experience
• FF&E Installation experience
• Hotel/Restaurant/Luxury Residential project experience
• Based on Oahu
