Our client located in Texas north of Huston is adding to their team a Electrical Designer and PLC Programmer. They are seeking top talent and will relo you and your family to Texas. 

The Electrical Designer and PLC Programmer will be responsible for designing and programming automation systems for their fired heater products and other process heating equipment. This role involves creating efficient, reliable, and innovative control solutions to meet the specific needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, program, and implement PLC-based control systems for industrial heating applications.
• Develop user interfaces and integrate systems with existing manufacturing processes.
• Conduct testing and validation of automated systems to ensure functionality and efficiency.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting during system commissioning and start-up phases.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to innovate control strategies and enhance system performance.
• Document all phases of the control system design and programming. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
• Proven experience in PLC programming and design, preferably in industrial heating or similar applications.
• Strong proficiency with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or other major PLC platforms.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and control diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
