National OEM Sales Leader

Description

Responsible for managing the Regional Sales Managers to produce a highly effective and knowledgeable national sales team to drive the sales of high-speed custom machinery. A strong candidate will have experience leading and mentoring sales reps, developing division sales objectives with industry expertise. Capable of promoting an entrepreneurial, collaborative and customer-first culture, this individual coaches and leads the team to achieve great results. This individual will have strong interpersonal skills, communication abilities, and negotiating experience. Knowledge and experience in the film, converting, and packaging industry are required. Having ample industry experience to accurately forecast sales opportunities and shifts in the marketplace is a must-have to lead the group.

 

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Drive sales and best practices
  • Motivate and energize the staff to make proactive decisions with clients
  • Review existing quotes/ projects with the Regional Sales Managers
  • Establish, build, and manage strategic partnerships throughout the US
  • Develop and Manage Outside Rep groups (as required)
  • Build annual sales plans
  • Serve on senior-level and sales policy-making committees
  • Increase number of qualified requests for quotes (RFQs)
  • Develop cooperation and trust with internal, cross-functional team members
  • Plan and staff sales team to match customer demands and sales plans
  • Ensure compliance with all departmental and company SOPs
  • Be a continuous example of a driven, solution-based leader
  • Implement and utilize sales methodology
  • Attain proficiency in sales enablement tools such as Salesforce, etc.
