Our client, a leading Toronto law firm, is currently seeking an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant to join its collaborative team. Duties & Responsibilities
Provide administrative and organizational support to multiple senior legal professionals.
Prepare legal documents, correspondence, presentations, and marketing materials.
Organize and maintain electronic documents within the document management system.
Open new client matters and manage related administrative processes.
Coordinate file closing and archiving in accordance with firm procedures.
Prepare billing, review dockets, and assist with accounts.
Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements.
Organize department client events and conference registrations.
Maintain and update client contact information.
Assist with tracking business development initiatives.
Utilize legal technology and software to support lawyers and clients efficiently.
Perform additional administrative duties as required.
Requirements
Legal Assistant or Office Administration Diploma.
Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience supporting multiple senior-level legal professionals.
Excellent organizational, administrative, and communication skills.
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume legal environment.
Client-focused with a professional and proactive approach.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and Microsoft Office.
Experience using iManage, Intapp, and 3E, or comparable document management, file opening, and accounting software.
Experience with marketing, design, and social media platforms is considered an asset.
Willingness to learn new technologies and participate in ongoing professional development.
