Our client, a busy personal injury law firm, is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accident Benefits Coordinator to support their legal team. This role involves managing a high volume of files and working closely with Law Clerks to ensure efficient file progression.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Report to and take direction from Law Clerks on file management
- Manage up to 200 accident benefits files simultaneously
- Request and follow up on productions, including reports and correspondence
- Receive and complete OCF forms as required
- Draft LAT applications
- Maintain and organize files, including proper naming and document management
- Scan and upload incoming mail and faxes into the system
- Communicate with rehabilitation facilities, insurance adjusters, and clients
- Provide general administrative and file support as needed
Requirements:
- Diploma or certificate in a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a high-volume workload
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
