Our client, a well-established law firm in downtown Toronto, is seeking a Mail Room / Facilities Coordinator to join their Office Services team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Process and distribute incoming/outgoing mail, couriers, and cheques in accordance with office procedures
Perform time-sensitive “rush” deliveries and pick-ups on foot and via transit
Assist with daily banking and government filings
Operate fax and other communication equipment
Coordinate with staff and clients to ensure timely handling of urgent materials
Liaise with courier and postal services regarding rates and service options
Maintain organization and cleanliness of the mailroom and storage areas
Track and manage mailroom inventory and office supplies
Transport files, packages, and boxes (up to 40 lbs) as required
Assist with office and meeting room setup and reconfigurations
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
Ability to lift and move items up to 40 lbs
Willingness to travel locally for deliveries in various weather conditions
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
