Client Profile

Our client, a leading firm is currently looking for a Residential Real Estate Law Clerk. This firm has an excellent culture and a lot of career development opportunities.

            -Mid sized full service law firm.

-Representing clients at all levels of Courts in Ontario, as well as various administrative tribunals, such as the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, and Workplace Safety Insurance Board.

            -Office located in Barrie.

Duties and Responsibilities:

-           Handle residential files and mortgage transactions from open to close;

-           Perform title and off-title searches and identify any problems;

-           Liaise professionally with lawyers and clients;

-           Prepare client correspondence and requisition letters; and

-           Any other tasks as required.

Requirements:

-           4+ years of experience as a residential real estate experience;

-           Law Clerk or Legal Assistant Diploma;

-           The ability to fully handle residential real estate files, from open to close;

-           Proficiency in Teraview, Unity and MS Office applications;

-           Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills;

-           Excellent written and verbal communication; and

-           The ability to work with minimal supervision.
