Client Profile
Our client, a mid-sized downtown firm with a mixed practice, seeking an experienced Trainer to work closely with HR and IT departments. The firm is known for its professional work environment, supportive teams, and commitment to career growth.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with HR and IT departments.
- Deliver and design training for the firm’s applications.
- Provide training on applications such as:
- Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Infoware (for document building, styles, formatting)
- Document Management (DM)
- Mitel (desk phones and desktop apps)
- Kofax Advanced PDF
- Ticket Carpe Diem
- Elite
- DocuSign
- Develop and prepare training guides, documentation, and videos for both new and existing applications.
- Design and deliver customized training for new employees, collaborating with department heads and managing the booking of boardrooms for in-person training sessions.
- Conduct comprehensive training sessions with various departments;
- Provide continuous post-training coaching and support via scheduled calls or video conferencing.
- Liaise with users to address questions or issues related to applications.
- Participate in product demos, testing, and feedback for proposed new or updated applications.
- Coordinate pilot group testing for new applications.
- Work with IT to troubleshoot application issues from a user’s perspective.
- Regularly attend train-the-trainer sessions organized by the IT Director.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of law firm experience.
- Strong knowledge of firm-specific applications and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral), with a high level of patience, especially during live training sessions.
- Highly organized and able to deliver comprehensive training programs for all staff levels.
- Hands-on experience with training software, preparing learning materials, and managing onboarding processes.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
