Our client, a leading firm, is currently looking for an IT Help Desk Technician. This firm has an excellent culture and a lot of career development opportunities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide front line support to firm members;
- Respond to Help Desk tickets and provide one-on-one support to all firm members with their hardware/software related questions and problems;
- Provide remote computer support for end users as requested;
- Investigate and resolve Help Desk issues and escalate as necessary;
- Ensure that the Help Desk is monitored during normal business hours and that all requests are assessed and resolved;
- Provide support of technical hardware including, but not limited to, computers, mobile devices, phones, printers, and photocopiers as necessary;
- Participate in technical workstation support and systems implementations and rollouts; and
- Responsible on a rotation basis for after-hours support.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of law firm experience in a Legal Help Desk/IT department;
- Community College diploma in IT related studies
- Experience in the use of standard business applications: : Windows 7/10, MS Office 2010, MS Office 365, HP printers, iPhone, TCP/IP Networking/Active Directory, MS Exchange, Windows Server, desktop and notebook configuration
- Exceptional communication skills (oral and written);
- Able to prioritize and handle demanding situations;
- Work independently as well as in a team environment;
- Able to work overtime as needed; and
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities with the ability to learn new concepts and products quickly.
