Seeking BHT’s in West Philadelphia @$16.25-18.50/hr!
Our provider partner in the West Philadelphia area is looking for Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT’s) with AT LEAST a High School diploma or GED and an interest in growing into a human services/behavioral health role.
We have open cases in these zip codes: 19143, 19139, 19131
Here is a breakdown of the pay rates for the BHT role in these locations:

BHT-2 | Associate’s Degree and/or 2 years experience | $17.25/hr |
BHT-3 | Bachelor’s Degree and/or 2+ years experience | $18.50/hr |
Core Duties:
- Provide 1:1 behavioral intervention with children.
- Collaborate with the child’s treatment team to contribute valuable input and shape individualized treatment plans.
- Document detailed daily observations of the child’s behavior and any relevant changes.
- Attend monthly supervision meetings with the Behavior Consultant.
- Implement strategies from Applied Behavior Analysis to enhance student outcomes.
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma and experience working with children or any caregiving role
Job Requirements
- A laptop computer is preferred for taking notes.
- The Covid Vaccine is required.
- Clear Pennsylvania Criminal, FBI (Dept. of Human Services) and Child Abuse Clearances.
Required Training (Provided by KMS for FREE):
- Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) Training
- Community Behavioral Health Training (Fire Safety, Infection Control, etc.)
- NAIC Training (Tobacco Use, Gambling Disorders, etc.)
- Mandated Reporter (ACT 31) Training
- In-person CPR/ First Aid training
Schedule:
- As a contractor, choose ongoing cases that fit your weekly schedule.
- Up to 30 hours per week. Inquire about picking up coverages in other positions for additional hours (may require driver’s license)
Interview Process:
- Interviews take place virtually on Microsoft Teams.
- Scheduled time: 45 minutes.
- Interviews consist of a face-to-face meeting, followed by a Writing Assessment.
- After onboarding, meet with the provider for a final interview.
