Job Description

Our provider partner in the counties needs experienced behavioral health workers to assist children in school settings! Due to the location and higher qualifications for these open cases, the pay rate is $20- $22/hr.

Open cases are in Bucks and Montgomery counties, including Bensalem, Elkins Park, Fort Washington, Glenside, Blue Bell and Downingtown. Additionally, qualified candidates must be willing to travel to Feasterville-Trevose for orientation and to drop off paperwork.


Here is a breakdown of the pay rates for the BHT role in these locations:

At least 1 year experience providing behavioral health services to children in any role

$20.00/hr

BHT II

At least 1 year experience as a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) with children

$21.00/hr

BHT ABA

At least 1 year experience as a Behavioral Health Technician with children and the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification, including the in-person exam

$22.00/hr

 

Core Duties:

  • Provide 1:1 behavioral intervention with children.
  • Collaborate with the child’s treatment team to contribute valuable input and shape individualized treatment plans.
  • Document detailed daily observations of the child’s behavior and any relevant changes.
  • Attend monthly supervision meetings with the Behavior Consultant.
  • Implement strategies from Applied Behavior Analysis to enhance student outcomes.

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma/ GED

Job Requirements

  • The Covid Vaccine or a valid exemption is required.
  • Clear Pennsylvania Criminal, FBI (Dept. of Human Services) and Child Abuse Clearances.

Required Training (Provided by KMS for FREE):

  • Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) Training
    • KMS provides the online training portion via Relias.
    • For higher pay rate, complete in person exam with BACB (not provided by KMS Staffing) in addition to online training
  • Magellan Training (Fire Safety, Infection Control, etc.)
  • Mandated Reporter (ACT 31) Training
  • In-person CPR/ First Aid training


Schedule:

  • As a contractor, choose ongoing cases that fit your weekly schedule.
  • Up to 40 hours per week. Inquire about picking up coverages in other positions for additional hours (may require driver’s license)
  • In-school and After-School hours may be available.

Interview Process:

  • Interviews take place virtually on Microsoft Teams.
  • Scheduled time: 45 minutes.
  • Interviews consist of a face-to-face meeting, followed by a Writing Assessment.
  • After onboarding, meet with the provider for a final interview and in-person orientation.
