This isn't a traditional maintenance position.
Instead, you'll become part of a specialized technical team responsible for maintaining advanced Electron Beam (E-Beam) sterilization systems, high-voltage DC equipment, vacuum systems, RF-related electronics, and the supporting mechanical equipment used to sterilize medical devices and other critical products used around the world.
While you'll perform light mechanical work on conveyors and supporting equipment, this role is fundamentally about understanding and maintaining advanced electronic systems. What You'll Work On
- Electron Beam (E-Beam) accelerator systems
- High-voltage DC power systems (up to 200,000 volts)
- High-vacuum systems

What You'll Be Doing
Preventive Maintenance & Reliability
- Perform preventive maintenance on highly specialized sterilization equipment
- Help execute approximately 250 preventive maintenance activities each month as part of a collaborative team
- Identify potential issues before they become equipment failures
- Support a proactive maintenance culture focused on equipment reliability rather than constant emergency repairs
Technical Troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot advanced electrical and electronic systems
- Diagnose high-voltage and vacuum system issues
- Utilize oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other electrical diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve problems
- Assist with system repairs, testing, and equipment improvements
- Learn the operation and maintenance of advanced Electron Beam technology
Mechanical Support
- Perform light mechanical maintenance on conveyor systems and related equipment
- Replace bearings, rollers, motors, and other mechanical components as needed
- Support equipment installations and scheduled maintenance activities
- Work alongside teammates to complete larger maintenance projects

Ideal Backgrounds Include
- Military electronics, communications, radar, or RF systems
- Industrial electrical or electronic troubleshooting

Required Qualifications
- Experience using oscilloscopes and other electrical diagnostic equipment
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to perform light mechanical repairs
- Strong troubleshooting mindset and attention to detail
- Curiosity and desire to learn highly specialized technology

Schedule
- Flexible off-shift schedule
- Typical work hours fall between 3:00pm and 7:00am
- Leadership will work with you to establish a schedule that best supports operations
- Typically 5055 hours per week
- Rotating weekend coverage shared across the maintenance team
- This position expands the team, reducing weekend coverage to approximately one weekend out of every four
Compensation & Benefits
- $32.00$40.00/hour (Based on Experience)
