The Opportunity

This is a role for machinists who take pride in producing complex, high-value components where quality matters.

You'll be machining precision parts for both medical and aerospace applications, often working with expensive castings and materials where attention to detail is critical. The parts are complex, the tolerances are tight, and the cost of scrap is significant.

This role requires a machinist who can think through problems, make adjustments during the machining process, and keep quality and productivity on track.

  • Troubleshoot machining and quality issues
  • Monitor machine performance and part quality
  • Work with complex castings and high-value materials

Quality & Inspection

  • Perform inspections using precision measuring equipment
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Verify dimensions and tolerances
  • Ensure compliance with customer specifications

Process Ownership

  • Take ownership of machine performance
  • Reduce scrap and improve efficiency
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to improve production processes

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of CNC machining experience
  • Strong CNC milling background
  • Setup and troubleshooting experience
  • Blueprint reading proficiency
  • Experience working with tight tolerances
  • Strong understanding of tooling and machining fundamentals

Why This Role Stands Out

  • One of the largest precision machining operations in the region
  • Produces critical medical and aerospace components
  • Projected growth of nearly 30% in 2026 and another 30%+ in 2027
  • Opportunity to work on complex, high-value parts
  • Many leaders started on the shop floor and earned promotions through performance
  • Overtime is available, but never mandatory

Schedule & Overtime

  • Night Shift
  • Typical start time of 4:00pm or 5:00pm
  • Most machinists work approximately 12-hour shifts Monday through Thursday
  • Optional overtime frequently available on Fridays
  • Average schedule is approximately 48 hours per week
  • Overtime is completely voluntary

Compensation & Benefits

  • Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision) begin the 1st of the month after hire
  • 8 paid holidays + 3 floating holidays
  • PTO starts at 2 weeks annually
  • Overtime hours count toward PTO accrual, allowing many employees to earn up to 3 weeks of PTO during their first year
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Strong company-sponsored insurance plans
  • Annual performance reviews and merit increases

The Bottom Line

If you're a CNC Milling Machinist who enjoys challenging work, tight tolerances, complex parts, and taking ownership of the machining process, this is an opportunity to join a rapidly growing operation with outstanding long-term potential.
