Swiss Set-Up Machinist – 1st Shift
1st Shift | 6:00am – 2:30pm
$38.00–$42.00/hour

The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced Swiss Machinist who can contribute immediately while helping support the continued growth of one of the region's largest machining operations.
In addition to running complex Swiss-machined components, this role plays an important part in supporting and mentoring less experienced machinists. If you enjoy sharing knowledge, helping others improve, and being viewed as a technical resource on the floor, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact.
You'll work primarily on Tsugami Swiss machines producing precision titanium medical components.
What You'll Be Doing
Setup & Process Control
- Perform complete machine setups
- Optimize tooling and machining processes
- Troubleshoot quality and production issues
- Make offsets and machine adjustments
Production & Quality
- Run complex titanium components
- Verify parts meet specifications
- Support quality initiatives and process improvements
- Help maintain efficient production flow
Team Support & Mentorship
- Assist less experienced machinists
- Share best practices and troubleshooting knowledge
- Help develop machining talent within the department
- Serve as a technical resource on the floor
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of Swiss machining experience
- Setup and troubleshooting expertise
- Strong blueprint reading and inspection skills
- Leadership and mentoring mindset
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Schedule & Overtime
- 1st Shift: 6:00am – 2:30pm
- Many machinists choose to work extended days, commonly staying until 4:30pm
- Average schedule is approximately 48 hours per week
- Friday overtime opportunities available
- Overtime is completely voluntary
