3rd Shift | 11:00pm – 7:30am
$26–$29/hour (includes shift premium)

We're hiring an EDM Machinist to support the production of precision components used within the medical device industry.

This role is best suited for someone with previous Wire EDM and/or Sinker EDM experience who wants to continue building their skills in a clean, high-precision manufacturing environment.

You'll work on tight-tolerance components where quality, accuracy, and attention to detail matter every day. The company has been in business for 65+ years, growing from a small machine shop into a stable, well-established manufacturer while maintaining a hands-on, team-focused culture.


What You'll Work On

  • Wire EDM machines
  • Sinker EDM equipment
  • Precision-machined components for medical applications
  • Tight-tolerance parts requiring detailed inspection and verification

What You'll Be Doing

EDM Machine Operation

  • Operate EDM equipment according to established programs and setup instructions
  • Load materials, fixtures, and tooling into machines
  • Monitor machine performance and machining processes
  • Make tool changes, offsets, and machine adjustments as needed
  • Produce quality parts according to print and customer specifications

Quality & Inspection

  • Perform in-process and final inspections
  • Use precision measuring tools including:
    • Calipers
    • Micrometers
    • Gauges
  • Verify dimensions against engineering drawings and specifications
  • Maintain high standards for quality and accuracy

Daily Ownership

  • Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
  • Complete production records and machine documentation
  • Perform basic machine maintenance and cleaning
  • Identify and report quality or equipment concerns
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Work independently while supporting production goals

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Experience operating Wire EDM and/or Sinker EDM equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
  • Experience using precision measuring tools
  • Strong understanding of dimensional inspection and quality requirements
  • Ability to perform tool changes, offsets, and machine adjustments
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience producing tight-tolerance components
  • Medical device, aerospace, or other precision manufacturing experience
  • Technical school or machining certification
  • Experience with multiple EDM platforms

Schedule & Overtime

  • 3rd Shift: 11:00pm – 7:30am
  • Full-time manufacturing environment
  • Voluntary overtime opportunities available

Compensation & Benefits

  • $26–$29/hour (includes shift premium)
  • Shift premium begins immediately, including during initial training
  • Compensation is based on EDM experience, machine proficiency, and overall machining background
  • Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision) begin the 1st of the month after hire
  • 8 paid holidays + 3 floating holidays
  • 80 hours PTO annually (accrued)
