The Opportunity
We’re hiring a Production Supervisor for a stable, locally owned company that has been in business for nearly 70 years — without layoffs or downsizing.
This role supports a food processing operation and is focused less on “standing over production” and more on leading people, building accountability, and developing a strong team culture.
You’ll oversee a team of approximately 25 employees, supported by two experienced line leads who help drive production and daily workflow. This allows the supervisor to focus heavily on:
- Employee development
- Training and accountability
- Attendance management
- Communication and team leadership

What You’ll Be Doing
Team Leadership & Accountability
- Lead and support a production team of approximately 25 employees
- Ensure employees are properly trained and following procedures
- Monitor attendance and address performance concerns appropriately
- Hold employees accountable while maintaining a respectful team environment
- Support employee development and growth
Production & Operations Support
- Work alongside line leads to help maintain production flow
- Communicate with multiple departments to support daily operations
- Assist in resolving production issues and operational challenges
- Ensure production processes are completed safely and efficiently
Administrative & Process Responsibilities
- Track production-related information and employee documentation
- Assist with scheduling, staffing, and manpower coordination
- Support hiring, onboarding, and disciplinary processes with HR involvement
- Reinforce safety, sanitation, and operational procedures
What We’re Looking For
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in manufacturing or food production
- Ability to lead people and hold employees accountable professionally
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
- Reliable, team-oriented leadership style
