Quality Technician

1st Shift | 7:00am – 3:30pm
$21–$23/hour
Ossian, IN | Precision Manufacturing / Medical Device Industry


The Opportunity

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the technical side of manufacturing and takes pride in making sure parts are right before they move to the customer.

We’re hiring a Quality Technician to support production through inspections, dimensional verification, and quality documentation in a high-precision manufacturing environment serving the medical device industry.

This role is ideal for someone who already has a foundation in quality and measurement — and wants the opportunity to continue growing their technical skillset over time.

The company has been in business for 65+ years, growing from a small shop into a stable, well-established operation while maintaining a hands-on, team-focused culture.


What You’ll Be Doing

Inspection & Verification

  • Perform first article inspections and dimensional verification
  • Inspect manufactured parts to ensure quality standards are met
  • Support PPAP and quality documentation processes
  • Verify customer documentation and certifications prior to shipment

Measurement & Quality Support

  • Use precision measuring tools to inspect parts and features
  • Interpret prints and apply GD&T concepts
  • Assist production teams with proper measuring techniques and quality standards
  • Collect and communicate quality-related data as needed

Advanced Equipment & Growth Opportunities

  • Learn and work with advanced inspection equipment including:
    • CMM
    • FARO Arm
    • Micro-Vu systems

Training is available for candidates with strong foundational quality experience who want to expand their skills.


What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Understanding of:
    • GD&T
    • Precision measurement tools
    • Quality documentation standards
    • First article inspection
    • Dimensional verification
  • Ability to read and interpret manufacturing prints
  • Strong attention to detail and organization

Bonus Skills (Can Learn)

  • CMM experience
  • FARO Arm experience
  • Micro-Vu programming or operation

Schedule & Compensation

  • 1st Shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm
  • $21–$23/hour

Compensation & Benefits

  • Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision) begin the 1st of the month after hire
  • 8 paid holidays + 3 floating holidays
  • 80 hours PTO annually (accrued)
