Full-Time | CNC Mills & Lathes

The Opportunity

If you prefer nights, less distraction, and a more independent work environment — this 3rd shift role is a strong fit.

This is a hands-on CNC role with real responsibility, not just loading parts and pushing buttons.

You’ll be trusted to run your machine, inspect your parts, and keep production moving while working in a quieter, more focused shift.

The company has been in business for 65+ years, with consistent growth and a strong reputation in the industry.

  • CNC Lathes (more variety, smaller runs)

You may run one or multiple machines, depending on experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

Machine Operation & Production

  • Run CNC mills and/or lathes
  • Monitor production and maintain efficiency
  • Identify tooling issues and make basic adjustments

Quality & Inspection

  • Perform first piece and in-process inspections
  • Use measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
  • Learn CMM and optical comparator inspection
  • Own the quality of your parts

Day-to-Day Ownership

  • Manage your machines independently
  • Keep production on track
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years CNC experience
  • Ability to inspect your own work
  • Understanding of CNC operations
  • Strong attention to detail

Nice to Have

  • Offsets or minor adjustments
  • CMM/comparator experience
  • Multi-machine operation

Why This Role Stands Out

  • 65+ year stable company
  • More independent work environment on nights
  • Clear growth path into setup roles
  • Training on inspection equipment
  • Strong production consistency

Schedule & Overtime

  • 3rd Shift: 11:00pm – 7:30am
  • Overtime is voluntary
  • Optional Saturdays
  • Opportunity to pick up extra hours if desired

Compensation & Benefits

  • $24–$28/hour (includes shift premium)
  • Benefits start 1st of the month after hire
  • 8 paid holidays + 3 floating holidays
  • 80 hours PTO annually

Additional Perks

  • Quarterly Chip Bonus
  • Annual reviews + raises
  • Growth-based pay increases

The Bottom Line

If you like working nights and want a role where you can focus, run your machines, and take ownership of your work, this is a strong opportunity.
