Title: Prefabrication Manager / Plant Manager - Exterior Wall Systems
Location: Southeastern United States. RELOCATORS ACCEPTED

Reports to: Director of Operations/COO

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Prefabrication Manager/Plant Manager to oversee all aspects of our manufacturing facility operations. The ideal candidate will lead production teams, optimize manufacturing processes, and ensure quality control while maintaining safety standards and meeting production schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
• Production Management
- Direct daily manufacturing operations and workflow optimization
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet project deadlines
- Coordinate with project managers and engineering teams on custom specifications
- Manage inventory levels and material procurement
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives
• Team Leadership
- Supervise, train, and develop a team of 30-50 production personnel
- Establish performance metrics and conduct regular evaluations
- Ensure proper staffing levels and scheduling
- Foster a culture of safety and quality
• Quality Control
- Maintain quality control systems and ISO standards
- Oversee quality inspections and testing procedures
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications
- Manage quality documentation and reporting
• Facility Management
- Oversee equipment maintenance and facility operations
- Implement and maintain safety protocols
- Manage facility upgrades and equipment acquisitions
- Ensure environmental compliance
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience, with 5+ years in management role
• Experience in prefabrication, exterior wall systems, or related construction products
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols
• Proven track record of implementing lean manufacturing principles
• Experience with ERP systems and production management software
• Excellence in team leadership and personnel development
Preferred Qualifications:
• MBA or Master's degree in related field
• PE license or professional certifications
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software
• Knowledge of building codes and construction standards
• Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher)
Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with production scheduling software
• Knowledge of quality control systems and ISO standards
• Understanding of CNC machinery and automated manufacturing processes
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to walk production floor for extended periods
• Capable of climbing ladders and accessing various areas of the facility
• Must be able to wear required PPE
• Some travel may be required (10-15%)
