Solid Rock Recruiting is partnering with a leading provider of high-quality commercial painting services to fill the Director of Operations position. Position Overview:

The Director of Operations will be responsible for overseeing all office operations and ensuring the efficient management of resources and personnel. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The Director of Operations will supervise project managers, estimators, and other staff to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations and ensure that all office functions are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Supervise and support project managers, estimators, and other staff members, providing guidance and leadership to ensure project success.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with senior management to set and achieve company goals and objectives.
  • Manage resource allocation and ensure optimal use of personnel and materials.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and professional growth.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a senior operations management role, preferably in the commercial painting or construction industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
