Solid Rock Recruiting has partnered with an awesome contractor to find a skilled and experienced Division 10 PM/Estimator to join our team in Charleston, South Carolina. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and expertise in Division 10 specialties and proficiency in using On-Screen Takeoff software. This role involves managing projects, preparing detailed estimates, and ensuring successful project completion.
NOTE: This is a very specialized job, requiring specific construction knowledge. If you are not a division 9/10 PM/Estimator currently working for a subcontractor or self-perform general contractor, do not bother to apply.
Division 10 PM/Estimator Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage Division 10 projects from inception to completion.
Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for Division 10 specialties using On-Screen Takeoff software.
Coordinate with clients, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary project information.
Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive estimate
Develop project schedules and ensure adherence to timelines.
Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control.
Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality standards.
Collaborate with project teams to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Division 10 products, materials, and industry trends.
Prepare and present project reports, estimates, and proposals to clients and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
Division 10 PM/Estimator Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Division 10 project management and estimating.
Proficiency in On-Screen Takeoff software is required.
Strong understanding of Division 10 specialties, including toilet partitions, accessories, lockers, fire extinguishers, and other related products.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as required.
