Seeking a Commercial Painting Project Coordinator
Solid Rock Recruiting has partnered with a fantastic commercial paint contractor in Northern Virginia (Springfield area). This painting contractor is the one to go to when it comes to real cool projects all over the Washington DC Metropolitan area.
Job Title: Project Coordinator
Job Summary: The Project Coordinator is responsible for helping oversee the successful completion of projects. Duties include managing various administrative functions, facilitating, and coordinating with internal and external customers on respective assigned projects.
Essential Functions of Project Coordinator
- Update and distribute daily work schedule
- Work with project Superintendents
- ensure that appropriate documentations/information is provided for upcoming (new) jobs
- Data entry - enter relevant job information into tracking system
- Order material (paint) as required for each respective project
- Assist project managers and warehouse manager with various duties
- Correspond with General Contractors
- Receiving orders.
- Purchase Orders (WORKING IN SAGE 300 CRE).
- Placing purchase orders WITH CORRECT PRICING and committing them in SAGE.
- Bring hard copies of POs to warehouse.
- Receive PO/packing slip. Approve in SAGE Paperless.
- Schedule.
- Submittals.
- Starter packages.

Skills Required of Project Coordinator
- Bilingual English/Spanish -
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Proficient in WORKING IN SAGE 300 CRE
Educational Requirements: - High School Diploma or G.E.D - 3 years of related experience
Physical Requirements: - Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times - Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
