Solid Rock Recruiting is partnering with a top division 8 distributer to hire a Project Manager. Our client is looking for a candidate that LOVES commercial work and is passionate about being part of a very interactive team getting the jobs done.
Project Manager Position Summary:
As a Doors, Frames, and Hardware (DFH) Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing multiple projects within the commercial construction sector. Your responsibilities include establishing project objectives, ensuring timely completion, managing budgets, and maintaining strong customer relations. The role requires expertise in interpreting contract documents, financial management, and a deep understanding of DFH products.
Before you read on, this position requires that you are an experienced division 8 (construction) project manager with specific and current experience in doors frames and hardware.
Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Work with Estimator for scheduling the project
- Manage multiple small to large construction projects at one time
- Manage procurements of materials
- Draft project change orders and distribute to respective stakeholders
- Formulate reports concerning areas such as work progress and scheduling
- Maintain effective communication skills
- Manage schedule, cost, production, changes, installation, and closeout
- Other duties assigned
- 5+ years managing door & hardware projects or a 4-year degree in Construction Management required with 3+ years of managing door & hardware projects
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Ability to read and understand Blue Prints
- Proficiency preferred in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and PlanGrid
- Preferred knowledge in the eMullion
- Must be able to communicate effectively Perform efficiently and accurately with minimal supervision
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills with the ability to make sound, informative decisions
