Solid Rock Recruiting is working with a high-volume specialty sub-contractor seeking an experienced AR Specialist to join their team in Springfield, VA. The ideal candidate will have skills in invoicing and collections, project accounting, and experience working with high volume construction contractors (30-40 jobs going simultaneously). The successful candidate will also have experience working with Sage 300 and be able to multi-task effectively.

AR Specialist Responsibilities:

• Manage the accounts receivable process, including invoicing and collections.

• Perform project accounting duties, including tracking expenses and revenue.

• Ensure timely and accurate payments.

• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.

• Work with other team members to manage cash flow.

• Prepare monthly financial reports for management.


AR Specialist Requirements:

• Construction accounting experience with high volume (30-40 jobs simultaneously with $2MM-$3MM monthly volume) 

• 3+ years of experience in CONSTRUCTION accounts receivable and project accounting.

• Experience working with high volume construction contractors.

• Strong proficiency with Sage 300.

• Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
