Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to support Patent and Trademark Prosecution and Intellectual Property Transactions Practice. This role involves hands-on support for attorneys in managing prosecution timelines, filings, and IP-related transactions.
We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to support Patent and Trademark Prosecution and Intellectual Property Transactions Practice. This role involves hands-on support for attorneys in managing prosecution timelines, filings, and IP-related transactions.
Key Responsibilities

Assist with patent and trademark prosecution, including electronic filing of U.S. and PCT applications and responses.

Prepare and file IDSs, assignments, prior art references, and other supporting documents.

Maintain and operate the docketing system, including tracking prosecution deadlines, annuities, and maintenance filings.

Generate docket reports for attorneys and ensure compliance with deadlines.

Support attorneys during M&A transactions and technology licensing negotiations.

Communicate with clients, vendors, USPTO personnel, court staff, experts, and attorneys as needed.
Requirements
-
3–5 years of paralegal experience in intellectual property and litigation within a law firm environment.

Strong computer proficiency and attention to detail.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys and support staff in a team-oriented environment.
