Dispatcher / Customer Service Representative (Temp-to-Perm)

Location: Jacksonville, FL (In-Office)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Employment Type: Temporary to Permanent

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dispatcher / Customer Service Representative to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. This role is responsible for coordinating service requests, communicating with customers and field staff, and ensuring efficient daily operations. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with long-term potential for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and manage incoming customer calls, emails, and service requests
• Schedule and dispatch technicians or drivers efficiently based on priority and location
• Monitor job progress and provide real-time updates to customers and internal teams
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, schedules, and customer interactions
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and in a timely manner
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth workflow and service delivery
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1–3 years of experience in dispatching, customer service, or a related role preferred
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or dispatching software
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Skills

• Experience in logistics, transportation, or service-based industries
• Ability to handle high call volume and prioritize tasks effectively
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
