Location: Tampa, FL (Downtown)

Compensation: $25–$40/hour, based on experience and qualifications

Schedule: 8:30 AM- 5:00 PM

An AV-rated law firm is seeking a highly motivated Paralegal to support its Litigation practice. The firm represents sophisticated clients and offers challenging, high-quality work in a friendly, collegial environment, along with excellent compensation and benefits. This role involves performing a wide range of tasks while delivering exceptional client service and consistently producing superior work product. The ideal candidate will maintain a strong working knowledge of the firm’s litigation practice areas, as well as specialized knowledge of assigned attorneys’ practices and clients, to ensure outstanding client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-level administrative and legal support to attorneys
• Manage scheduling, including court dates, deadlines, and meetings
• Assist with trial preparation and support during trial
• Maintain and organize case files and documentation
• Track and record billable hours accurately
• Ensure compliance with Federal and State court rules and procedures
• Utilize legal software and case management tools effectively

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of substantive experience in defense products liability
• Prior trial experience required
• Strong knowledge of Federal and State court rules
• Experience with scheduling and case management
• Familiarity with legal software (e.g., Xera, Relativity) preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational abilities
• Client-focused mindset with a professional demeanor and proactive approach
