Job Title: Inside Sales Associate
Location: Clearwater, Florida 33765
Employment Type: Full-Time (Direct Hire or Temporary-to-Permanent)
Shift Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 1-hour lunch
Desired Start Date: ASAP
Pay Range: $60,000 – $70,000
We are seeking a versatile, customer-focused professional to join our team as an Inside Sales Associate. This role combines relationship-driven inside sales with a strong focus on customer success and operational support. You will serve as a primary point of contact for customers—answering questions, resolving issues, and supporting their long-term success—while also contributing to revenue growth and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative technical solutions.
A technical background or familiarity with electrical or power systems is strongly preferred, as this role frequently interfaces with engineering teams and provides foundational technical guidance to customers.

Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers through proactive communication and ongoing support.
Act as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams, including Engineering, Production, Marketing, and Quality.
Sales Growth & Support
Partner with Outside Sales and Account Managers to drive revenue through upselling, cross-selling, and new business development.
Prepare customer-facing proposals, cost estimates, and technical presentations.
Order & Project Management
Manage sales orders and purchase orders with a high level of accuracy to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
Support new program launches and assist in the ongoing management of existing customer projects.
Technical Support
Provide basic technical support and troubleshooting for products related to power and energy systems.
Translate customer requirements into clear technical inputs for engineering teams and communicate engineering feedback back to customers.
Customer Success & Process Improvement
Address customer concerns and complaints in a timely, professional manner, coordinating corrective actions as necessary.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and collaborate with internal teams to enhance workflows and customer experience.
Market & Industry Insight
Research industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies.
Stay informed on applicable standards and innovations related to power and energy systems.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in inside sales, account management, or customer success roles.
Familiarity with electrical systems, DC power, or energy-related products preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated analytical problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across teams.
Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience working within ISO or quality management systems.
Experience with ERP or CRM tools (e.g., NetSuite or similar).
Experience with customer support platforms such as Freshdesk or equivalent.
Ability to interpret technical documentation and communicate effectively with engineers.
