CNC Swiss Machinist

Location: Port Richey, FL 34668

Job Type: Full-Time | Temporary-to-Permanent

Schedule: 4 × 10-hour shifts

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Swiss Machinist to join our precision manufacturing team in Port Richey, FL. This role involves operating and programming CNC Swiss-style machines to produce high-precision components. The position starts as temporary with the potential to become permanent. Candidates must be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and committed to producing high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC Swiss-style machines to produce precision parts.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Program CNC machines and make adjustments to ensure quality output.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections using precision measuring tools.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and perform minor maintenance.
• Maintain accurate production records, including machine settings and inspection results.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Collaborate with production team and engineers to optimize processes.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in CNC machining preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience operating CNC Swiss-style machines.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
• CNC programming experience (G-code, CAM software) is a plus.
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently or in a team environment.

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing setting with exposure to noise and machinery.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
