Job Description

CNC Swiss Programmer – FANUC Controls (Senior-Level)
Location: Port Richey, FL 34668
Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Perm
Schedule: 4 × 10-hour shifts
Pay: Open/Competitive (DOE)

Position Overview
We are seeking three experienced CNC Swiss Programmers with hands-on expertise in FANUC controls to support high-precision production. This role is programming-focused, not operator-only. The ideal candidates can independently write, modify, and optimize FANUC G-code and macros for Swiss-style CNC machines producing tight-tolerance components.

Candidates must have experience with CAM software, specifically CAMWorks, PartMaker, or Fusion 360, and be able to provide examples of past work.

This position is ideal for programmers who thrive in a fast-paced, precision manufacturing environment and can drive process improvements from programming through production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Swiss-style CNC machines using FANUC controls (G-code and macro programming)

  • Develop, edit, and optimize CNC programs for complex, tight-tolerance parts

  • Set up Swiss CNC machines and validate programs prior to production runs

  • Optimize tooling strategies, feeds, speeds, and cycle times

  • Troubleshoot machining and programming issues directly at the machine

  • Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring tools

  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturability

  • Document programs, setup sheets, and process changes

  • Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas

Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)

  • 3+ years of Swiss CNC programming experience

  • Direct experience programming FANUC-controlled Swiss machines

  • Strong knowledge of G-code; macro programming highly preferred

  • Experience with tight-tolerance, high-precision parts

  • Proficiency in CAM software (CAMWorks, PartMaker, Fusion 360)

  • Ability to independently program, set up, and support production

  • Proficient with micrometers, calipers, indicators, and gauges

  • Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills

  • Examples of past programming work to demonstrate capability

Preferred (Strong Advantage)

  • Experience with Citizen, Star, Tsugami, or similar Swiss machines

  • Background in medical, aerospace, or high-precision manufacturing

  • Experience with additional CAM software (Esprit, Mastercam, etc.)

  • Process optimization and continuous improvement mindset
