We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Landscape Technician to join our Property and Facilities team. This is a newly added position designed to support the day-to-day landscaping, maintenance, and upkeep of a large, Class A office campus. While landscape crews handle most routine maintenance, this role focuses on detailed, hands-on landscaping work and addressing ongoing property needs to ensure the campus remains in pristine condition.
The Property and Facilities team is responsible for maintaining a 40+ acre office campus. The team works collaboratively to manage landscaping, grounds maintenance, and facility appearance, ensuring a high-quality environment for employees and visitors. This is a highly visible role with regular interaction across the campus.
Perform detailed commercial landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks
Assist with day-to-day upkeep of lawns, plantings, and landscaped areas
Identify and address maintenance issues across the property
Support seasonal landscaping needs and special projects
Operate landscaping tools, equipment, property vehicles, and golf carts as required
Communicate and coordinate work through mobile technology and work order systems
2–3 years of commercial landscaping experience (residential or basic lawn cutting experience alone is not sufficient)
High school diploma or GED
Ability to work outdoors and meet physical demands, including standing for long periods, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs
Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and driving record check
English proficiency as primary language
Comfortable using technology (iPhone/iPad, mobile apps, work order systems, Microsoft Teams, etc.)
Experience troubleshooting irrigation systems
Experience with commercial fountains or water features
On-site role based at a headquarters office campus in St. Petersburg, FL
Monday–Friday schedule with staggered start times to maximize coverage
Typical start times are early mornings (6:00 AM or 7:00 AM), depending on season
Occasional weekends or holidays may be required
Hourly pay typically ranges from $20–$25, depending on experience
Paid Time Off: 7 days annually
