Position Job Title(s):
Reason for Position(s):
- Newly added position. We have landscape crews perform the majority of the upkeep on our property. We are looking to add someone to help with the detailed day-to-day landscaping work, maintenance issues, etc.
About the Team: Property and Facilities team. Power Design is a privately owned, family-owned company. With a 40+ acre office campus. We have our own internal teams to manage and maintain the property to be in pristine condition. Our property is considered a Class A office facility.
Must Have Requirements:
- At least 2-3 years of commercial landscaping experience (standard lawn cutting experience isn’t sufficient)
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
- Ability to work in an outdoor environment and meet the physical requirements of a landscaping role (standing for long periods of time, bending, kneeling, lifting up to 50lbs)
- Must have a valid drivers license and their own vehicle (driver’s license is required for driving property vehicles and golf carts)
- Must be comfortable with a background check, drug screen, and driving record check if hired
- Must speak English as primary language
- Must be comfortable utilizing an iPhone/iPad/technology savvy- we use a lot of apps/work order systems/Microsoft Team’s chats.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience troubleshooting irrigation systems, experience with commercial fountains/water fixtures

Comp Range/Benefit & PTO level/Assets/Relo Assistance:

- Varies depending on experience ($20-$25 hourly is typical for this role)
- PTO 7 days annually, 8 paid company holidays
- Benefits: health, dental, vision, etc.- these are effective the 1st of the month following start date
Interview Process:
- If we move forward with presented candidate, we will take ownership of the process and will keep you informed about what stage they are at and any updates throughout the process
- Virtual Screening call with a recruiter
- Virtual call with hiring team
- Visit on-site, shadow property team
PDI Requirements:
- Tenure o For office and leadership roles, no more than 3 jobs in 10 years (or since graduating), include reasons for moving o For other roles, no more than 4 jobs in the last 10 years
- Location o These roles are based at HQ (GRID) in Saint Petersburg, FL
- Monday – Friday, will be a set schedule, TBD. Team members have staggered start times to maximize coverage during operational hours. Schedule will vary depending on time of year, typically early mornings 6am or 7am start. Occasional weekends or holidays may be required.
- Work Authorization status o Confirm if sponsorship is required now or anytime in the future
- Cultural fit o Motivated self-starter, collaborative team player, growth mind-set, highly visible role- appearance and personality is important, will be interacting with many employees, stakeholders, and other team members day to day
Submission Process:
- Submit candidate in Workday o Recruiter will receive a notification to review for duplicates and either approve or deny o If approved, Candidate will then receive an email notification so they can confirm and complete the submittal application process o As the candidate progresses, you should receive system notifications to keep you in the loop on their status throughout the process
- All candidates can be emailed to me upon submittal in Workday as well o Do not send to leaders in department o Email with candidate’s resume (unaltered by agency and contact information included) and the following notes attached:
- PDI requirements checked (see above)
- Brief overview of experience
- Current & targeted compensation
- The following general info should be provided in write-ups in addition to resumes: o Full Name o Contact Info (if not on resume) o Location (city/state and willingness to relocate and/or travel) o LinkedIn Profile and/or Video Prescreening (anything to help visualize presentation and personality/soft skills)
