Day Porter / Campus Services Specialist

Location: St. Petersburg, FL 33716 (Onsite, Monday–Friday)
Employment Type: Direct Placement with a Prestigious Firm
Schedule: 9-hour shift with a 1-hour lunch between 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Pay Rate: $19/hour (40 hours per week; some overtime opportunities)


Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and service-driven Day Porter / Campus Services Specialist to support the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of a Class A corporate campus. This is a hands-on role focused on janitorial services, event support, and general campus operations. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining a polished environment and is willing to assist wherever needed.


Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain interior and exterior areas of the campus, including restrooms, kitchens, breakrooms, offices, and common areas

  • Sanitize high-touch surfaces and respond to spills or messes as they occur

  • Stock restrooms and breakrooms with necessary supplies

  • Conduct routine inspections and report cleanliness or maintenance issues

  • Support event setup and breakdown, including furniture, signage, and cleanup

  • Assist with facilities, engineering, and property-related projects

  • Complete general labor tasks and miscellaneous duties as assigned

  • Manage work orders and employee requests through a digital task system

  • Coordinate with on-site vendors during service visits

  • Provide flexible support for urgent requests or same-day needs


Required Qualifications

  • Previous janitorial, facilities, or operations experience preferred

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Willingness to assist outside standard job duties when needed

  • Fluent in English

  • Ability to work a 9-hour shift with a 1-hour lunch between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

  • Availability for occasional evenings, weekends, or urgent requests

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

  • Must be at least 21 years of age

  • Ability to pass background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening

  • Attention to detail, strong organization skills, and a professional demeanor

  • Physically able to lift, move, and set up furniture and equipment
