Customer Care Representative
Location: Houston, TX 77040
Parking: Available
⏰ Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $19.00 – $20.00/hour
A Furniture Group is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Customer Care Representative to join our Houston team. This role blends warehouse operations with responsive customer service—ensuring products are received, processed, and shipped accurately while supporting both internal and external customer needs.
Receive, sort, and stage products for shipment using RF scanners or manual processes for specialty items.
Organize products in designated bin locations, racks, and shelves.
Lift/move items weighing 50–80 lbs. regularly and 80–150 lbs. occasionally (team lifts).
Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, etc.) safely and maintain equipment.
Respond to customer and internal team requests promptly and professionally.
Assist with inventory cycle counts and maintain accurate records.
Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized- complying with all PPE and safety guidelines.
Report any delivery, packaging, or tagging issues to management.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
1–2 years of warehouse experience preferred.
Previous forklift experience a plus (PIT certification provided).
Basic computer and RF scanner knowledge preferred.
Strong time management and communication skills.
Reliable, dependable, and able to work in both hot and cold conditions.
Able to work independently or in a team environment.
Regularly stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb.
Safely handle heavy items up to 150 lbs with team assistance.
Comfortable working near moving equipment, in high areas, and in varying temperatures.
