Yard Driver (Non-CDL)
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Schedule: Mon–Fri, 6:30 AM–4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $15 / hr

What You’ll Do

• Safely reposition 53′ trailers throughout the yard using a snorkel semi-truck

• Keep traffic lanes and dock areas organized for inbound/outbound loads

• Perform pre- and post-shift inspections on all equipment; report any defects immediately

• Operate (or cross-train on) yard machinery such as forklifts and skid steers

• Adhere strictly to company safety protocols and EPA/site rules

What You Bring

• Yard-Trailer Experience: Minimum 1 year moving 53′ trailers in a yard or terminal setting

• Vehicle Comfort: Confident backing and docking with a snorkel semi-truck (no highway driving)

• Equipment Skills: Forklift or skid-steer experience preferred (certifications a plus)

• Attitude: Dependable, safety-focused, and eager to learn new yard procedures

• Work Ethic: Strong attendance record and willingness to jump in wherever needed

Physical Demands

• Work outdoors in varied weather (heat, rain, or cold)

• Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and climb in/out of equipment throughout your shift
