Position: Customer Care Representative
Location: Buford, GA 30518
Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $19.00–$19.50/hour
Start Date: ASAP
Process: One in-person interview + assessment

Duration: Temp-to-Perm
Dress Code: Business Casual

Top 3 Requirements:

  1. AS400 experience is highly preferred

  2. Customer service experience required

  3. Experience working with sales and warehouse teams is a plus

Position Summary:

We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Care Representative to join a distribution center in Buford, GA. This role involves supporting clients and internal departments to ensure service levels are met and expectations are exceeded.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email

  • Navigate AS400 system (training provided if necessary)

  • Provide support for dealers and territory managers

  • Process demo requests, credits, returns, parts orders, and warranty claims

  • Track shipments and check inventory

  • Submit order changes or cancellations (with supervisor assistance)

  • Process order addendums and maintain issue logs

  • Escalate unresolved issues as needed

  • Attend team meetings and participate in ongoing training

  • Maintain daily communication with supervisor

  • Meet performance benchmarks for response times

  • Perform other duties as assigned


Requirements:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Effective problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to multi-task and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Attention to detail and accurate data entry

  • 1+ years of related customer service experience

  • Familiarity with AS400 preferred


Education:

  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Military experience may be considered in lieu of education/experience
