Machine Operator 
Location: Port Richey, FL (U.S. 19, ZIP Code 34652)
Job Type: Full-Time | Temporary-to-Permanent
Schedule: Three 12-Hour Shifts

  • Shift Options: AM Shift or PM Shift

  • Days: Choose either Monday–Wednesday or Thursday–Saturday

  • Note: Plant is closed on Sundays
    Pay Rate: Depending on Experience (DOE)


Job Summary:

We are hiring a dependable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our team at a firearms manufacturing facility located in Port Richey, Florida. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity offering consistent 12-hour shifts with set days and the option to choose between AM or PM shifts.

The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical aptitude, at least 2–3 years of machine operation experience, and is comfortable working around firearms. Prior military, veteran, or law enforcement experience is highly valued due to a strong background in firearm safety.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC machines, lathes, and related manufacturing equipment

  • Monitor machines and make real-time adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

  • Conduct inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measurement tools

  • Perform routine maintenance and adhere to all machine safety protocols

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals


Qualifications:

  • 2–3 years of machine operation or manufacturing experience required

  • CNC machine experience is a plus

  • Must be comfortable working with and around firearms and firearm parts

  • Ability to read technical documents and use precision measuring tools

  • Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs

  • Must pass a background check in compliance with firearms industry regulations

  • Veterans and prior law enforcement are encouraged to apply — your background in firearm safety is highly valued
