Production Supervisor – Firearms Manufacturing
Location: Port Richey, FL (U.S. 19, ZIP Code 34652)
Job Type: Full-Time | Temporary-to-Permanent
Schedule: Three 12-Hour Shifts
Shift Options: AM Shift or PM Shift
Days: Choose either Monday–Wednesday or Thursday–Saturday
Note: Plant is closed on Sundays
Pay Rate: Depending on Experience (DOE)
We are seeking a hands-on and experienced Production Supervisor to lead our machine operator team at a firearms manufacturing facility in Port Richey, Florida. This full-time, temp-to-perm position plays a critical role in maintaining production efficiency, enforcing safety protocols, and ensuring high-quality standards across all manufacturing processes.
Ideal candidates will have prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, a solid understanding of machining processes (CNC strongly preferred), and comfort working around firearms and firearm components. Veterans, prior military, and former law enforcement professionals are encouraged to apply—your leadership and firearm safety expertise are a strong fit for this position.
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of machine operators and production staff
Monitor workflow and ensure production targets, safety protocols, and quality standards are consistently met
Train and mentor team members on equipment use, safety, and company procedures
Conduct performance evaluations and coach employees for continuous improvement
Troubleshoot equipment and process issues and escalate when necessary
Maintain accurate documentation of production data, attendance, and incident reports
Collaborate with leadership and other departments to maintain smooth plant operations
Enforce strict adherence to firearm safety and regulatory compliance in all production processes
Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting required
Strong knowledge of machining processes, with CNC equipment experience preferred
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and hold team members accountable
Must be comfortable working with and around firearms and firearm parts
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to read blueprints and utilize precision measuring tools
Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
Must pass a background check in accordance with firearms industry regulations
