Pay: $20–$25 per hour (DOE)
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator with expertise in operating press brakes, water jets, fiber lasers, and drill presses. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication, with a focus on precision machining and high-quality results. Key Responsibilities:
Operate and set up press brakes, water jets, fiber laser machines, and drill presses to fabricate components according to specifications.
Drill, tap, ream, and countersink materials using a drill press with high attention to detail.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure proper fabrication and assembly.
Accurately measure and layout parts for machining to ensure correct dimensions and hole placements.
Use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers to verify dimensions and tolerances.
Inspect finished products to maintain high-quality standards and ensure adherence to design specifications.
Perform routine maintenance on fabrication equipment to ensure proper functioning and minimize downtime.
Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Fabricator or Machine Operator in a fabrication or machining setting, with proficiency in operating press brakes, water jets, fiber lasers, and drill presses.
Strong understanding of blueprint reading, part layouts, and machining specifications.
Expertise in using measuring tools like tape measures, calipers, and micrometers for precise measurements.
Ability to operate and maintain drill press machinery, performing tasks such as drilling, tapping, reaming, and countersinking.
High attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with workplace safety procedures and adherence to company safety protocols.
