Fabricator (Press Brake, Water Jet, Fiber Laser, Drill Press)

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator with expertise in operating press brakes, water jets, fiber lasers, and drill presses. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication, with a focus on precision machining and high-quality results. Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and set up press brakes, water jets, fiber laser machines, and drill presses to fabricate components according to specifications.

• Drill, tap, ream, and countersink materials using a drill press with high attention to detail.

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure proper fabrication and assembly.

• Accurately measure and layout parts for machining to ensure correct dimensions and hole placements.

• Use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers to verify dimensions and tolerances.

• Inspect finished products to maintain high-quality standards and ensure adherence to design specifications.

• Perform routine maintenance on fabrication equipment to ensure proper functioning and minimize downtime.

• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Fabricator or Machine Operator in a fabrication or machining setting, with proficiency in operating press brakes, water jets, fiber lasers, and drill presses.

• Strong understanding of blueprint reading, part layouts, and machining specifications.

• Expertise in using measuring tools like tape measures, calipers, and micrometers for precise measurements.

• Ability to operate and maintain drill press machinery, performing tasks such as drilling, tapping, reaming, and countersinking.

• High attention to detail and ability to work with precision.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Familiarity with workplace safety procedures and adherence to company safety protocols.
