Machine Operator I – Injection Molding
Location: Port Richey, FL 34668
Type: Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

Shift & Pay Details:

• 1st Shift: $15.00/hour | Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM

• 2nd Shift: $15.35/hour | Monday–Thursday, 5:00 PM – 5:30 AM (Overnight)

• Schedule: 4x12-hour shifts

• Overtime:

  • Every other Friday is mandatory until a three-shift schedule is implemented

  • Time and a half for hours over 40/week

  • Double time for hours over 58/week

Position Overview:

Now hiring for a Machine Operator with experience in injection molding. This role involves operating molding equipment to produce quality plastic parts while maintaining safety, efficiency, and consistency.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor injection molding machines

• Follow standardized work instructions and molding procedures

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections to ensure part quality

• Identify and report defective products

• Track and report cycle times and machine performance issues

• Adhere to ISO and company quality standards

• Keep work area clean, organized, and safe

• Use color-coded light system to communicate machine status or support needs

• Coordinate effectively with team members for smooth shift transitions

• Reference approved samples and documentation for production accuracy

• Assist in mold changes or setups as needed (training provided)

• Meet daily safety, quality, and production targets

Requirements:

• Previous experience with injection molding machines preferred

• Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail

• Strong manual dexterity and coordination

• Understanding of plastic part inspection methods

• Team player with clear communication skills

• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
