Job Description

As a Pad Printing Technician I, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining pad printing equipment to ensure high-quality prints on various substrates. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to production schedules, and the ability to maintain quality standards. You will collaborate with the production team to meet daily objectives while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Follow the production schedule to meet deadlines.
• Ensure print quality meets customer and company standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
• Accurately complete all required paperwork and data documentation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Apply various types of inks according to customer requirements and work order instructions.
• Prepare parts and substrates for the pad printing process.
• Mix inks accurately based on job specifications.
• Ensure printed products meet quality standards.
• Perform touch-ups and rework as needed.
• Meet daily production goals while maintaining efficiency (Parts Per Hour).
• Complete all necessary documentation for production tracking.
• Maintain a safe working environment and follow safety protocols.
• Clean and maintain pad printing equipment per department SOPs.
• Identify and correct non-conformances in the printing process.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in pad printing processes preferred.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus.

• Strong working knowledge of pad printing techniques and equipment.
• Basic math skills and understanding of mixing ratios.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to recognize quality standards.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for 10+ hours.
• Lift up to 30 lbs as needed.
