Maintenance Mechanic IV
Location: Tampa, FL
Shift: Night Shift (5:15 PM – 5:30 AM) | 12-hour rotating schedule

Your Role:

As a Maintenance Mechanic IV, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance. You will work with:

  • Pumps, motors, and conveyors

  • Hydraulic and pneumatic systems

  • Water treatment systems

  • Furnaces and blowers

  • Valves, piping systems, and tanks

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive maintenance and major equipment repairs.

  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and execute efficient solutions.

  • Conduct daily maintenance checks and maintain equipment logs.

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company policies.

  • Maintain tools and work areas in a clean and organized manner.

  • Respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed.

What You Bring:

  • Minimum of 8 years of industrial mechanical experience.

  • Proficiency in predictive and preventive maintenance.

  • Expertise in troubleshooting and repairing pumps, gearboxes, and conveyors.

  • Experience with laser alignment, LOTO procedures, and pneumatic systems.

  • Ability to read advanced blueprints and technical diagrams.

  • Welding experience preferred.

  • Completion of an accredited apprenticeship program (preferred, not required).

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and math skills required).

  • Ability to wear PPE in designated areas and work in varying temperatures.

  • Capability to lift/carry weight and perform work at heights.

  • Successful completion of:

    • Industrial mechanical written and practical tests.

    • Pre-employment screenings, including background check and drug screening.
