What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• A minimum of two years of experience in a similar role within the apartment industry.
• Proficiency in using property management systems such as RealPage/LRO, Entrata, or similar tools.
• While a college degree is an advantage, it’s not a requirement.
• Strong customer service skills with a knack for creating positive experiences.
• A valid driver’s license for onsite and local community activities.
• Bilingual capabilities are highly desirable!

A Day in the Life of a Leasing Consultant:

• Welcome prospective residents, conduct guided tours, and help them find their perfect home.
• Handle leasing paperwork, rental deposits, and ensure showcase apartments are always picture-perfect.
• Stay knowledgeable about lease terms, property details, community policies, and current market trends to provide exceptional service.
• Build and maintain relationships with apartment locator services, local businesses, and prospective residents to stay competitive.
• Use effective sales techniques and closing strategies to meet leasing goals and renewals.
• Participate in outreach marketing activities and develop creative resident retention programs.
• Organize and maintain resident and property records, respond to inquiries, and resolve concerns professionally and promptly.
• Conduct competitor analyses to keep the community competitive and informed.
• Assist in the collection of overdue rent payments and ensure compliance with Landlord-Tenant Laws and Fair Housing Laws.
