Job Title: Aluminum Door Manufacturing Technician

Location: Bradenton, Florida

Job Summary:

We are looking for technically skilled candidates with good attention to detail for the position of an Aluminum door fabricator. Fabricators are responsible for adhering to a production schedule, ensuring that all parts are properly fitted, aligned, and secured, and ensuring that safety standards are always met, among other duties.

The shift is from 7 am– 3:30 pm Monday–Friday. Pay Rate $18.00 Hr.

40-hour work week, Weekend Off, and No Overtime. 

Key Responsibilities:

Fabrication & Assembly: 

o  Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to understand product specifications.

o  Measure, cut, drill, and assemble aluminum extrusions and components according to design requirements.

o  Operate fabrication machinery such as saws, drills, punches, and routers safely and efficiently.

o  Ensure proper fit and alignment of all door components.

Painting: 

o  Prepare aluminum and cardboard surfaces with adhesive glue using painting equipment

o  Operate and maintain painting equipment (e.g., spray guns, booths).

General Duties: 

o  Perform quality control checks at various stages of production to ensure adherence to standards.

o  Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

o  Use hand tools, power tools, and measurement instruments effectively and safely.

o   Adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures.

o  Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
  • Experience with industrial painting processes, preferably spray painting.
  • Competency in using hand tools, power tools (saws, drills, etc.), and precision measurement instruments (tape measures, calipers).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Understanding of workplace safety practices.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderately heavy materials (up to 50 lbs consistently), bend, stoop, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Selected applicants are subject to, and must pass, a background check and drug screen, per applicable state laws.
