Job Description

Responsible for the construction of high-quality teak deck sections and trim, ensuring precise craftsmanship and timely delivery to customers. The role involves woodworking, tool operation, and attention to detail.

Essential Duties:

• Select and prepare teak wood based on work orders.
• Measure, cut, and assemble teak using tools such as table saws, band saws, planers, circular saws, miter saws, belt sanders, and hand tools.
• Assemble and trim teak panels to exact measurements and deck patterns.
• Maintain a daily job sheet to record time, materials, and project details.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Attend scheduled shifts and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED (preferred).
• Experience with woodworking tools and machinery.
• Ability to measure, calculate, and read work orders and technical drawings.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to conceptualize mirrored images for deck patterns.

Physical Demands:
Ability to stand, bend, squat, reach, and perform manual tasks with good hand/eye coordination.
