Job Description

JDEE Transport Services is a Class A employment agency that places drivers in permanent positions across the United States. We are currently seeking experience drivers for a dedicated yard switcher/local position in Birmingham, AL.

Required Experience: Must have 6 plus months of verifiable tractor trailer and/or yard switching experience in the past 3 years. Drivers must have a valid CDL A, stable work history, great customer service skills and the ability to pass Urine & Hair testing.
Must live within a 60 mile radius of Birmingham, AL to be considered

Pay: Start $20.50 per hour / Average 40 - 50 hours per week Overtime after 40 hours

Schedule: All positions are 4 days on and 3 days off and the next week it will be 3 days on and 4 days off (rotating shift) Various morning and night positions to choose from. Driver will choose their schedule at the time of interview.

Job Description: Ensuring the timely movement of trailers in and out of the docks on-site at the customer's location May be required to perform local/ hourly runs depending on the customer's need. Mostly to Montgomery, Tuscaloosa or southern Tennessee along I-65 route. 95% yard switching and 5% DOT regulated driving
