Job Description
Our client, located in west Midtown in Atlanta, is adding an HR Generalist to support the organization’s continued growth. This role will play a key part in supporting both employees and leadership by delivering practical, people-centered HR solutions across employee relations, recruiting and onboarding, benefits administration, performance management, compliance, and training.
The HR Generalist will serve as a trusted partner within the organization, helping to ensure HR processes run smoothly while contributing to a positive, inclusive, and well-supported workplace culture. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and payroll.
- Support full-cycle recruitment activities including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Administer employee benefit programs and assist employees with benefits questions and enrollment.
- Coordinate and conduct new hire orientations to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
- Assist with employee relations matters by documenting issues, conducting investigations, and supporting performance improvement efforts.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; recommend best practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS and personnel files.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Support annual performance review, compensation, and benefits renewal processes.
- Participate in HR initiatives such as engagement programs, DEI efforts, and training and development activities.
- Generate reports and analyze HR metrics to support data-driven decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- 3+ years of progressive HR experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Experience with HRIS systems (UKG a plus) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification a plus.
Salary: $60,000-65,000k; PTO; comprehensive benefits package; generous PTO.
Additional Information- Full-time, on-site position. Work hours are 8-5
- May require occasional travel for training, recruiting, or company events.
