Client Services Associate - Accounting & Advisory Firm
In Office - Downtown Marietta

 

A boutique, well-established and growing tax firm, operating for nearly 20 years in downtown Marietta, is seeking a confident and highly organized Client Services Associate to support their team. Their firm is dedicated to providing extraordinary service  to their clients, and this role is integral to achieving their high standards of client experience and efficiency. 


Job Summary

 

The Client Services Associate will primarily support a small team focusing on high-impact administrative and client-facing responsibilities. This role is a key driver of efficiency and client satisfaction within the firm.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a confident and professional point of contact for clients, including proactively calling clients for missing information and addressing routine tax-related inquiries. Manage the process of sending automated confirmation letters to clients upon tax return or extension filing, detailing filing dates and payment/refund information.
  • Oversee the exception management and resolution stage of the electronic tax filing process. This requires meticulous follow-up to ensure all necessary client information (signatures, bank account details, etc.) is correctly received, clearing diagnostic issues, troubleshooting and correcting errors, and coordinating the resubmission of rejected files with tax authorities.
  • Manage the billing process using QuickBooks, including prepping bills, ensuring they are reviewed and sent to clients, and conducting diligent follow-up for collections.
  • Assist the immediate team with other administrative tasks as needed to maintain high levels of client service.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Confident and articulate communication skills (written and verbal) for interacting with team members and clients.
  • Proactive follow-up ability to manage multiple ongoing processes like E-filing and AR.
  • Experience or comfort learning software, including:
    • Lecerte (tax software - training provided)
    • QuickBooks Online
    • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Previous experience with a financial services company is a plus

Compensation

  • $70,000+ plus benefits
