Senior Accountant

Full-Time On-site | Jackson, GA
Salary: $80,000-$100,000

As a Senior Accountant, you'll be a crucial part of the finance team, reporting directly to the Controller. You'll play a vital role in maintaining the financial health of the company by overseeing a variety of accounting functions. This is a 100% on-site position where you'll be responsible for financial practices, maintaining fiscal records, and preparing timely financial reports. 

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Oversee and manage daily accounting functions, including billing, collections, payables, payroll, and sales taxes.
• Supervise the weekly billing process and support collections with timely reports.
• Complete timely monthly and year-end closes of financial statements.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and bank statements.
• Prepare audit schedules and other projects as assigned by the Controller.
• Communicate P&L status and bank reporting to the Controller.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• A minimum of 4 years of accounting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Peachtree/Sage and Microsoft Excel is a must.
• A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience supervising others is a plus.
• CPA license is preferred.
